“Saving the peaks, the people speak” was a powerful street community intervention by Klee Benally, Stephanie Jackson, Sam Minkler & John Running with the help of Raechel Running and Rey Cantil, to express their feelings about the sacred mountains (the San Francisco Peaks, in Flagstaff, AZ) slated to receive artificial snow made from reclaimed waste water back in the late 2011.
